Hello everybody.

I've been sitting on this for a while, being busy with my own website I was letting this sit mostly defunct for a long while, far too long actually, so I'm making changes to that now. Over the next few days we're going to be seeing updates here, and hopefully this time I won't mess anything up and we'll have a working site again. There is a lot of stuff that I have to figure out so please bear with me. I have, since rebooting the site, seen one legit user join, and haven't gotten any bots trying to sign up, but I know that is coming, need to try and get some...

In this video tutorial I'll be showing you how to create a hologram effect in Blender utilizing the internal render engine and Freestyle, plus a little compositing magic.
I cover the important information first, and then explain more little "extras" further along, so you can start creating your very own holograms just as soon as possible.

It's been a while since the last post about Creation with Computer Animation. It's not because we haven't been doing anything, actually we had a video update a short time ago, and it received some critiques, the first time we've actually had any, it cut me at first, I'll be honest, but the more I read over the comments and thought about it, I realized they were true. After much debate, with myself, and some more people suggestion improvements in the animation and everything I've decided to put a temporary pause on the project and do some studying on movie directing and get a bit of...

It's not usual that I do a blog post on another website, but that's what this blog post is about. I'm going to be giving an overview of a website that we just started using.
We just started using Dropbox as a site to share source files. What's really nice is how it automatically syncs the files on the individual computers of the volunteers so I can edit something, and then it's updated on all the other's computers so they can always be editing the newest version. Now I should point out that if two people are editing the same file it will...

So a while back I had done a reply tweet to 3dworldmag. They had tweeted. Let's share our knowledge and all become better 3D artists! What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
My reply was. It’s not the tool that you use, but the vision that you have. I had hoped that they would retweet me, they didn't, but later they did a compilation of a bunch of the info they got. http://www.3dworldmag.com/2011/03/28/the-best-advice-for-cg-artists/ This page was tweeted by...

If you follow us on twitter, and we hope you do, you will have doubtlessly noticed that we've been trying to get the mini sermons in the iTunes podcast directory.
Well we did get the submission in, approved, and listed, but it took a while for us to get all the sermons to show. Ran into a lot of errors, having never done anything like this before, it was all new. We did finally get three of them listed, after many hours of hard work, and troubleshooting and a lot of waiting on Apple.
If you haven't yet subscribed to the podcast on iTunes please take a moment to...

So I know we already all know this, but God's Awesome, sometimes we need to be reminded of just how Awesome God is. Today we've such a story.
As the President, I'm the guy who get's all the emails and such, not that we ever have any, but today I was pleasantly surprised to see an email from a John from Germany, interested in volunteering. I've just been praying for more volunteers, earlier this week, and Bam! here is the answer to my prayer.
We've started some correspondence and I'm liking what I'm seeing. It looks like we'll soon have another member of our team.

Hello everybody an update from the president here, not the president of the USA or anything like that, but the president of, drum roll, The Bible Animated. We have recently added a new volunteer, and progress is being made on Creation with Computer animation. I hope to soon have a new, updated animation up on youtube.
There are two things I’m looking for, Prayer, for without Him we can do nothing, and it would be really nice to find somebody who could compose us some music, or if somebody could just direct us to a place we can get free music, that we won’t have legal issues...

I’ve been doing a lot of work on trying to get the grass growing scene to look decent. As you can see from watching this video I’ve done a lot of test but haven’t had any good results. I want the grass to look real, and have a little breeze blowing it around, there is nothing worse than grass that is static, not moving.

The book, Life’s Midwest Winters is almost completed, there are a few more pictures to add and a few things that yet need to be changed, but it’s ready for the world premier. Now this is scheduled for November first, but this will just be a premier, it will be on our site http://www.thebibleanimated.com/ for one day, and then will be pulled from the server until we get snow at our head quarters at which date we shall put it back onto the server forever. So mark your calendar for this exciting date, and if you miss downloading it, just...
